Custom at Trunk Zurich
A well-made garment starts with a good conversation.
Custom at Trunk is our in-house made-to-measure and made-to-order service, bringing together a considered experience in our London and Zürich stores with the expertise of an Italian workshop.
The process is straightforward. Choose the cloth, settle on the details, take the measurements and return for a fitting. Six to eight weeks later, the finished garment arrives in London or Zürich.
Here is how it works:

Appointment
Every commission begins with a 50-minute appointment at our London or Zürich store.
We start with the basics: what you are looking for, where you intend to wear it and how you like your clothes to feel. Suits, jackets, trousers and shirts are all available through Custom at Trunk.
02.
Styling
The next step is to settle on the character of the garment.
We look at cloth, silhouette and the smaller details that make the difference: the shape of the lapel, buttons, pockets, lining and trouser finish.
The cloth selection brings together some of the established names in Italian, French and British weaving, including Maison Hellard, Drapers, Loro Piana, Caccioppoli, Holland & Sherry, Fox Brothers, Dugdale Bros and Solbiati.
There is plenty to choose from. The aim is to keep the process simple.
03.
Measurements
Once the details are decided, we take your measurements in store.
It is a quiet, precise part of the appointment. Your measurements are kept on file, making future commissions easier and allowing each new garment to build on the last.
04.
Fitting
Around six to eight weeks later, the garment arrives from Italy.
The first fitting is when the cloth, measurements and decisions made in the store come together. We look at the line of the garment, how it sits and, importantly, how it moves.
05.
Adjustments
A few small changes can make a considerable difference.
Our tailor makes any necessary adjustments before the garment is finished. It is the final stage in bringing the original idea into focus.
06.
Collection
The finished garment is then ready to collect from our London or Zürich store.
Your measurements and the details of the commission remain on file, so the next order can begin from a familiar place.
